A village food-led pub that offers seasonal menus and specials from ingredients sourced from local producers is looking to recruit a Commis Chef. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small team where you will receive excellent training.
The menus consist of fresh, seasonal food using local ingredients in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. As a Commis Chef, you will work in all sections of the kitchen and report to the senior chefs. The position will allow you to learn more culinary skills, develop stamina to handle high pressure situations, and learn about multiple duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
A Commis Chef with an NVQ Level 1 qualification who already has basic cooking skills is required to take on this role. Must be committed to working in a high quality, fresh food kitchen. Service is very busy, so it is important that you work well under pressure and are willing to work hard in order to assist the team in maintaining its high standard of service.
