The Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, Cairns is a deluxe 5 star hotel, ideally located right on the Marina in Cairns. We have 255 hotel rooms, extensive conference and banqueting facilities, and Restaurant - The Backyard.
We are looking for two talented Commis Chefs with restaurant experience to join our busy kitchen team. You must be trade qualified.

The successful applicant must have:

• A passion for the hospitality industry
• Previous experience in a busy kitchen
• Flexibility in their approach to work
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of current workplace health and safety and hygiene practices
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
