You’ll help with preparing and cooking dishes, keeping your workspace clean, and supporting senior chefs during busy service periods. You’ll follow recipes, maintain food safety standards, and take pride in producing delicious, high-quality food. We’re looking for someone with at least one year’s kitchen or hospitality experience and a cookery or food safety qualification such as NCEA Level 3 or equivalent. You’ll bring a passion for food, reliability, and the drive to keep improving your skills as part of a fun, hardworking team.
Responsibilities
As a Commis Chef, you will assist in preparing and cooking dishes while maintaining a clean workspace. You will support senior chefs during busy service periods and ensure food safety standards are met.
