As a Chef at Steels Gate, you’ll work alongside our talented team to deliver exceptional food that complements our award-winning wines. This role offers flexible hours, making it ideal for someone with experience as a Commis Chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
· Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet our high expectations.
· Assist with daily food preparation tasks, including mise en place, sauces, and ingredient organisation.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
· Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
· Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and team to ensure smooth, efficient service.
· Contribute ideas to menu development and support special event planning where required.
