That Plant Café in Kelmscott is a vibrant café serving wholesome, seasonal food and specialty coffee. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team and grow their skills in a supportive, creative environment.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with food preparation and plating to café standards
• Work across different kitchen sections while learning new skills
• Support senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations
• Help maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
• Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn

What we’re looking for:

• Some kitchen or hospitality experience (but passion and eagerness to learn are most important)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliability and good time management
• Availability for weekdays and weekends (day shifts – no late nights!)
