JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis to join our culinary team on a part time basis, we have sites within Inverclyde and grow our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with a desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. As a Commis, you will play an essential role in supporting the kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

SKILLS

  • Supervising experience within a kitchen environment is advantageous.
  • Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Culinary experience with a passion for cooking and hospitality.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory.
