Commis Chef (Full-Time or Part-Time)

​A vital entry-level role for a motivated chef looking to refine their skills and gain exposure to all kitchen sections.

​Role Responsibilities:

• ​Assisting Chef de Parties with meal preparation, cooking, and plating.
• ​Preparation of mise en place for service.
• ​Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station.
• ​Working closely with senior chefs and actively participating in the training of new or younger staff under supervision.

Ideal Candidate:

• ​Relevant commercial cookery qualification (Certificate III or IV).
• ​High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
• ​A strong desire to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
• Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
