Arbor Restaurant is situated within The Green House hotel. A beautiful eco-friendly boutique hotel that lives, eats and breathes sustainability. Just minutes from the white sandy beaches of Bournemouth, this privately owned Grade II Victorian Villa has been extensively renovated to prove that luxury hospitality and eco-consciousness can co-exist. We are committed to sustaining an exceptional product coupled with exceptional service.
This new vacancy provides the opportunity join an experienced and committed team. This is an entry level position, ideal for a recently qualified catering student with some commercial experience. Working at Arbor restaurant gives individuals the conditions to establish a favorable ‘work / life’ balance with flexible working hours. All kitchen brigade members have established careers at Arbor, which is testament to the opportunities and benefits available.
Arbor restaurant currently holds 2 AA Rosettes.

The duties of the Green House Part Time Commis Chef :

  • Works well in a team and adds to a good working atmosphere.
  • Passionate about food and excited about cooking with all fresh & local products
  • Interested in progressing in an independent hotel within a small team
  • Vocational certificate or NVQ in professional cuisine
  • Experience of working in non-branded kitchens with basic craft skills
  • Excellent communication skills to include all departments
  • Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
