Since April 2024, we have been welcoming guests to the Bergson Art Power Plant in Munich-Aubing, spanning 20,000 square meters, and inspiring them with our exceptionally diverse cultural offerings. These include concerts of all musical genres (from classical to techno), parties, family performances, talk shows, lectures, and much more. We also showcase the visual arts on an extraordinary scale. Our restaurants, bar, evening bar, daytime bar, outdoor terrace, lounge, and live music club offer a variety of high-quality, modern cuisine to suit every taste. And finally, the Bergson exudes a unique flair as an exclusively bookable venue for private and corporate events, thanks to its highly flexible spatial concept, state-of-the-art technical equipment, and architectural beauty.

Our guests can enjoy culinary delights not only in our restaurant (90 seats), daytime bar (100 seats), additional bars (40 seats), our live music club (90 seats), and the outdoor terrace (130 seats), but also with our diverse event catering for small and large events at Bergson (up to approximately 1,000 people). With reliable, sustainable quality and innovative culinary creations, we cater to every taste – from modern interpretations of regional cuisine to international dishes, as well as vegetarian and vegan options.

We are looking for someone to join our kitchen team on a permanent, full-time basis starting in September 2026.

Your tasks

• You will assist the Chef de Partie in the professional preparation and attractive presentation of the dishes at your assigned post.
• You organize the daily tasks at your assigned post, including mise en place and cleaning of the work areas.
• You will assist with food quality control, proper storage, and conducting inventories.
• You comply with all quality standards, HACCP guidelines and occupational safety regulations.
• You actively assist in the training of new colleagues (and potentially also trainees).
• You will work together with colleagues from other Bergson teams, e.g. from the service team and our Convention & Event team, in organizing events and food promotions.

Please bring with you 

• You have successfully completed training as a cook.
• Ideally, you have some initial professional experience as a cook, preferably from the upscale hotel, restaurant or event industry.
• You are enthusiastic about a modern kitchen with an innovative, contemporary menu.
• You impress with your creativity and attention to detail, and you bring a high level of quality awareness and a willingness to learn.
• You have excellent command of the German language, both spoken and written, and you speak good English.
