ORA is a wine bar and restaurant in the former Oranien pharmacy in the heart of Kreuzberg. Nadine & Tom Michelberger and Alan Micks took over the esteemed restaurant in 2020 and followed their vision of a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar.
At Ora, head chef Sam Kindillon creates a regularly changing three- and four-course menu consisting of dishes that are seasonal, unpretentious, and European. Micks and Kindillon cultivated strong relationships with outstanding producers and suppliers around Berlin. Today, there is a bounty of produce going into the menu from small farms, foragers, and local hunters. More and more ingredients come from the Michelberger farm in Spreewald. From 5 pm, the bar offers spontaneous visitors a distinct selection of light snacks and small dishes to share for an aperitif or to linger with a selected glass of wine from its extensive and constantly growing wine list.
