Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Commis de Partie to join our team at San Domenico Palace Taormina, a Four Seasons Hotel . As a member of our culinary team, you will support the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. You will work alongside a talented team, contributing to the seamless operation of our kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their culinary skills in a world-class luxury environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • According to Guest orders prepare food items of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
  • Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments as required for the next shift.
  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure to not prepare beyond estimated needs.
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill
