Job Description Assist in food preparation activities, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately under the guidance of senior chefs Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils Assist in the implementation of food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service operations Support in the preparation of mise en place for various stations in the kitchen Assist in plating and presentation of dishes according to established standards Participate in regular team meetings and briefings Contribute to maintaining proper inventory levels and minimizing food waste Adapt to changes in menu items and cooking techniques as required by the culinary team Qualifications Passion for culinary arts and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field Basic knowledge of various cooking techniques and flavor profiles Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Detail-oriented approach to food preparation and presentation Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Basic food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences Culinary diploma or relevant experience in a professional kitchen (preferred) Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights Ability to follow instructions precisely and adapt to new culinary techniques Willingness to learn and grow in a diverse culinary environment Additional Information Your team and working environment: In 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the culture Note: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
