Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis II to join our culinary team. As a Commis II, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and developing your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Prepare ingredients and assist in the execution of basic cooking techniques under supervision Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food quality and presentation Maintain a clean, organized work station and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and kitchen maintenance tasks Support senior chefs in special culinary projects and events Work efficiently under pressure and adapt to peak service demands Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a culinary program or certificate is preferred Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment Previous experience in a professional kitchen, entry-level positions, or internships Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer-focused skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and work schedules Passion for culinary arts with a willingness to learn and grow in the field Additional Information Our team and working environment: Opportunities to make your mark.
