Hospitality is a work of heart,​ Join us and become a Heartist®. Job Description Duties & Responsibilities Food Quality: Produce the highest possible food quality within established guidelines. Order Preparation: Prepare and garnish food orders as received, following recipes and ensuring proper plate presentation. Cooking Responsibilities: Prepare sauces, soups, and hot entrees as required. Station Setup: Set up for lunch and dinner according to the Chef de Parties' instructions. PPH Standards: Adhere to PPH standards for preparation, recipes, and presentation. Mise en Place: Set up “mise en place” for your station to ensure efficient workflow. Collaboration: Utilize Chef de Partie as a resource for seasoning, portioning, and food appearance. Food Storage: Store unused food properly and inform the Chef de Partie about larger quantities of stored food. Timely Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of food from your station and request help when needed. Safety and Hygiene: Follow proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices consistently. Readiness: Maintain readiness at all times to meet kitchen demands. Reference Materials: Refer to the station’s file for preparation, cooking, and presentation specifications. Learning: Confers closely with the Chef de Partie to familiarize yourself with all aspects of the position. Course Preparation: Prepare every course and mis en place at the respective post. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of prepared courses meets standards. Market List Preparation: Jointly responsible for preparing the market list and daily store order. Cost Management: Act cost-consciously in your respective post. Cold Storage Control: Daily control of cold-storage areas and refrigerators. Supervision: Jointly responsible for supervising subordinated employees, especially trainees and apprentices. Equipment Care: Clear and maintain equipment at your post. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of similar experience as Commis 3 or a fresher. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
