We are looking for a passionate and creative Commis Pastry Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will assist in the preparation of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods under the guidance of the Pastry Chef. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in pastry arts within a professional kitchen.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques
• Culinary or pastry qualification is preferred
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Assist in the daily preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
• Follow recipes and instructions given by the Pastry Chef or senior kitchen staff
• Ensure consistent presentation and quality of all pastry items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section
• Assist in inventory control and stock rotation
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Support with mise en place and service preparation
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
• Stay updated with current pastry trends and techniques
