Summary

As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in the kitchen team, supporting senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. You will assist in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure efficient operations in the kitchen.

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Ensure ingredients are prepared, measured, and organized for efficient cooking.
• Contribute to creating visually appealing and flavorful dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Participate in mise en place preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes meet 5-star standards.
• Handle food storage and preservation to maintain freshness and safety.
• Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure consistency.

Qualifications
Culinary diploma or relevant training from a recognized institution.
At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
