Responsibilities
  1. Food Preparation:
  • Prepare ingredients and assist in creating wellness-focused dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Handle and prepare ingredients such as organic, plant-based, or allergen-free products with care.
  1. Learning and Development:
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of wellness-focused cooking techniques, nutrition principles, and sustainable practices.
  • Learn to adapt recipes for specific dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free options.
  • Attend training sessions or workshops provided by the establishment to improve skills and knowledge.
  1. Hygiene and Safety:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at your workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with daily cleaning routines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Practice safe handling of equipment and follow protocols to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
  1. Team Support:
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
  • Assist in the preparation of mise en place for service, ensuring all sections are fully stocked.
  • Provide support to Demi Chefs, Chef de Partie, and other team members as needed.
  1. Guest-Centered Focus:
  • Understand the importance of presenting dishes that contribute to the guest’s overall wellness experience.
