Description

Cuisine Boulud is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Commissary Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our catering kitchen. This role involves organizing inventory, preparing orders for delivery, and ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, packing and labelling area, loading/unloading of proofers, catering equipment’s.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous commissary kitchen or catering experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to follow procedures, SOP documents
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with kitchen inventory systems (preferred)
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed

Responsibilities
  • Work with culinary teams to ensure full orders are packed and labeled efficiently
  • Track and report missing, damaged or out of stock items (any stock accounting experience using inventory management systems in restaurants, bakeries, cafes)
  • Recoup equipment in a clean and organized manner (catering event experience)
  • Receive, organize, and store incoming supplies and deliveries
  • Pick and pack orders for delivery based on event or kitchen needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • Communicate inventory and utility needs to supervisor
  • Check inventory levels and assist with restocking
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Facilitate reruns in collaboration with the manager and driver team
  • Follow food safety and handling guideline
  • Assist with setup and breakdown at event sites, if required
