Description
The Commissary Inventory Agent is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring stock is organized, and assisting in inventory control processes. This role involves tracking incoming and outgoing stock, conducting regular inventory counts, and addressing discrepancies. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent. * Previous airline experience preferred. * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Must have a reliable telephone number for contact. * Must have reliable transportation   PERSONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Treat all information as confidential. * Possess the tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public.Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. * Must be comfortable working in different temperature controlled environment * Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English. * Must be able to sit, stand, lift and/or bend throughout the shift. * Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests. * Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: * Must be familiar with all Government/Airport/Client and Company regulations. * Deals courteously and communicate effectively with fellow employees. * Participate in the Company's Safety Managment System (SMS). * Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required.Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials. * Adhere to company policies andprocedures and participate in achievement of company objectives. * Utilize company and client equipment, supplies and resources in a conscientious, cost effective manner. * Monitor and record inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. * Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. * Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming stock. * Prepare reports and update inventory databases as needed. * Perform other duties as requested.
