ABOUT THIS JOB

Barking and Dagenham Council supports a range of inspiring cultural programmes developed in collaboration with and for people in the borough. The Senior Curator and Commissioner oversees these and drives the development of cultural space and infrastructure across the borough. They oversee, among other things, a ground-breaking programme that explores the role that art and culture can play within in social care services (New Town Culture), the council’s National Portfolio Organisation Pen-to-Print, the Galleon Arts Centre and the Women’s Museum.
