ICMS is looking for an experienced Commissioning Authority / Expert. This individual will participate in all project commissioning activities. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures commissioning activities to include review of contractors proposed plan, verification and monitoring of testing, troubleshooting failures and review of final submission. Assists all parties in achieving Commissioning goals for the program by providing technical and procedure oversight during all phases of projects Requirements · Four-year Bachelor's Degree is desired in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience. · Minimum of 5 years commissioning experience · Experience reviewing commissioning plans, specifications, submittals, and test procedures. · Experience witnessing and documenting pre-functional and functional performance testing. · Experience preparing commissioning reports, deficiency logs, and project closeout documentation. · Experience working directly with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and facility operations personnel. · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and control diagrams. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and commissioning management software. · Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Additional Qualifying Factors: · As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. Security Clearance: It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required. Employment Type: Full-time Citizenship requirement: U.S. Citizenship Location: Laurel, MD (may need to visit Washington DC location and Fort Meade, MD) Salary: $120,000 – $150,000/year *This is a contingent hire position based upon the award of contract.
