Description

Are you a proactive team player who enjoys problem-solving and seeing tasks through to completion? We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our clients team as Commissioning Engineers in the control systems industry.

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS

You’ll be involved in a range of hands-on commissioning tasks at various project sites in the London region. Responsibilities may include:

  • Verifying correct installation of equipment before testing begins
  • Conducting system testing according to established commissioning plans
  • Running PLC data input/output tests and checking correct communication with field devices
  • Setting up and configuring field devices
  • Performing on-site acceptance testing and troubleshooting PLC code or wiring issues
  • Supporting client testing processes
  • Creating clear, accurate documentation including risk assessments, test reports, and progress updates

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We understand not everyone will tick every box, and that’s okay. We value attitude, potential, and willingness to learn just as much as experience.

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Are qualified to HND level or above in electrical or control engineering (or have equivalent practical experience)
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Hold a UK Pssport due to airport security clearance
  • Have no criminal convictions, due to airport security clearance requirements
  • Are flexible about travelling across the UK and working away from home when required
  • Are open to working varied shifts, including days and nights depending on project needs
