As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll take the lead in delivering fire safety systems that protect lives and critical infrastructure across the UK.
From initial concept to final handover, you’ll oversee the commissioning of fire detection and suppression systems in complex environments, including waste recycling, manufacturing and power generation. You will improve and enhance our internal team and processes while ensuring clients start on the best possible path forward with their new system.
You’ll utilise technical expertise and leadership capabilities to manage installations, conduct in-depth system testing and verification, and ensure compliance through collaboration with clients, subcontractors and engineers – along with assisting with small works and remedials, including auditing and scoping requirements to provide a technical brief back to other internal teams for recommendations and quoting.
Additionally, you will:
- Audit site works to uphold high-quality and Health & Safety standards
- Deliver training from our in-house facility and mentor engineering teams
- Provide technical support across projects and conduct client handovers
- Audit current client sites and scope new possible work from a technical point of view
- Manage snagging, warranty and defect issues professionally
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with all project stakeholders
