Purpose The Commissioning Engineer is resposible for executing efficient commissioning of oil and gas facilities, meeting project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.You support commissioning activities, providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with project and operational requirementsResponsibilities You are responsible for the execution, and documentation of commissioning activities as per project planning, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.You coordinate testing and handover processes for systems and equipment.You identify and resolve commissioning challenges, providing innovative solutions to maintain project schedules.You develop and review commissioning procedures, checklists, and schedules in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.You conduct pre-commissioning inspections and ensure all systems are tested and certified for safe operation.You drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices in commissioning activities.Education At least Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or equivalent) with strong knowledge of systems, construction & commissioning processes, and HSSE regulations.Experience Relevant experiencein the construction industry, combined with strong understanding of construction & commissioning management processes in the relevant disciplin and practical knowledge gained managing and leading teams to ensure smooth operations on site.Functional Competencies Concept developmentSystems EngineeringConstruction, Commissioning, Quality StrategySite engineeringConstruction and commissioningHSSE Quality Regulatory and Process Safety LeadershipAnalysisPlanning  GENERAL INFORMATION   SBM Offshore N.V. is a listed holding company that is headquartered in Amsterdam.
