Description

You’ll be based at our vibrant South Bank Head Office but will need to travel frequently to our regional and interstate sites.
While on-site, you’ll be required to follow the roster, understanding that standard shifts are 10.5 hours plus breaks, following a 10/4 schedule.
Under the guidance of the Completions Manager, this key role supports the Project Manager by overseeing on-site commissioning activities to ensure efficient performance as per specified quality, planned schedules, budgetary constraints, company policies, and legal obligations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop project-specific commissioning test procedures & check sheets.
  • Create an isolation matrix for equipment.
  • Identify and document key risks and hazards associated with commissioning activities, implementing and communicating appropriate controls through the site’s risk assessment process.
  • Establish, maintain, and review effective management plans for the commissioning phase of the project.
  • Develop commissioning planning, programming, and on-site completion schedules.
  • Supervise and schedule the activities of Commissioning Supervisors, Commissioning Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality, time, and cost schedules.
  • Coordinate site team activities and liaise with on-site staff to facilitate construction handover and complete commissioning processes.
  • Collaborate with design and commissioning Engineers to modify design and commissioning systems/methods as needed during the commissioning phase.
  • Oversee isolation permits and communicate isolations to the commissioning team and construction workforce.
  • Review construction verification documentation and equipment condition with the commissioning team before commencing commissioning activities to ensure equipment safety.
  • Identify, document, communicate, and address outstanding work (punch list items) from construction and commissioning activities.
  • Resolve day-to-day on-site industrial relations issues and escalate major issues to the Project Manager.
