Support and guide The Duratec’s Group construction projects and deliveries, ensuring compliance with quality contractual and statutory obligations. Projects include a mixture of new build, multistorey commercial, marine works and new greenfield power generation builds.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience in Commissiong engineering and management
  • White Card
  • Degree in project engineering, project management or other relevant discipline
  • Police clearance due to projects being on a Defence site
  • Ability to meet country of origin and security clearance requirements

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the overall management of commissioning planning and commissioning activities, to support new build construction, Infrastructure upgrades for future nuclear submarine capability. The role will involve working at our Balcatta office and onsite SOR near Rockingham.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of project specific commissioning plan in accordance with project requirements
  • Lead commissioning activities across all disciplines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute commissioning activities
  • Conduct inspections and performance verification activities.
  • Manage commissioning documentation and reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of commissioning procedures, test results, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee system integration and functional testing
  • Plan, coordinate and execute all commissioning activities
  • Provide operational training and handover to ensure long-term system performance and maintenance
  • Mitigate risks and resolve issues
  • Ensure regulatory and code compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Liaise with client stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, project managers and project teams on all quality matters
  • Awareness and compliance (in conjunction with delivery teams) with Building Compliance with Building Codes/Fire/Electrical/ both Federal and State
  • Involvement with QA audits team and maintaining ongoing ISO accreditations
  • Ongoing support with calibration of equipment systems
  • Drive positive QA/QC culture in teams to have quality at font of mind and achieve successful outcomes
