ACCIONA Mechanical & Electrical is a specialist division within ACCIONA, delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical design, construction, installation and commissioning services that support the transition to a low-carbon future.

Position
The Commissioning Manager will lead the commissioning team and collaborate closely with the integration and completions teams to manage the different commissioning phases of the Project. Reporting to the Project Director you will drive the delivery and implementation of commissioning activities from planning through design, construction, commissioning and operational readiness in accordance with the Project Commissioning Plan and Requirements for the Primary Package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to meeting the stakeholders’ technical requirements as defined by the contract documents, and in accordance with project budget and program requirements
  • Obtain relevant design parameter information for incorporation into detailed designs and construction specifications, including monitoring quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material
  • Comprehensive planning, implementation and management of all commissioning and performance proving activities and operator training to achieve handover of operational plants to client/end user
  • Quality and quantities of incoming equipment and materials, other inputs, and relevant design and specification documentation monitored against site plans and conditions, ensuring commissioning proceeds to plan

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 15+ years’ experience in commissioning or construction completion
  • Demonstrated experience in the process of commissioning preparation and execution
  • Previous construction project experience
  • People and performance management including the performance of subcontractors
