What you will do: - Develop and execute commissioning plans, project schedules, and allocated department budgets. - Perform comprehensive system testing, validation, and equipment installation verification protocols. - Identify and resolve technical site challenges arising during active commissioning phases. - Maintain accurate records of all activities, test results, and resolution documentation. - Review technical design specifications to ensure compliance with specialized facilities requirements. - Conduct advanced integration and performance testing across mechanical and electrical systems. Experience you need: - A recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline. - Minimum 10 years of experience managing construction testing and commissioning processes. - Prior testing and commissioning experience on data center projects is preferred. - Strong managerial capability with a focus on independent technical problem-solving. - Professional membership with MIEM or registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) status. About you: - Currently working as a Commissioning Engineer, Lead, or Manager within construction. - Background working within tier-1 main contractors, engineering consultancies, or civil builders. - Experienced in managing technical standards across multiple engineering vendors and stakeholders. The company: - Main Market-listed construction and infrastructure conglomerate established for over 30 years. - Financial standing supported by total group assets valued between 1 and 1.5 billion ringgit. - Consistent commercial performance with recent annual revenues tracking between 800 and 900 million ringgit. - Active construction order book currently approaching 1 billion ringgit, with a large multi-disciplinary workforce. - Track record includes international airport infrastructure, federal administrative buildings, and mass transit lines.
