Description of the work The scope of the work would be construction and commissioning. New petrochemical complex in (Antwerp), Belgium, consisting of an ethane cracker facility together with associated outside battery limit infrastructure. Starting April the duration will be at least one year (12 months). The work schedule would be full-time from Monday to Friday. Saturday part time. Every 3 months, 15 days of unpaid leave will be granted. important: Possessing an European ID is a required condition. Main Responsabilities At least 15 years of experience in similar positions with special mention to experience in Ethane Craker furnaces witl different licencors. Responsible for Commissioning scope in the project and for the assurance and supervisión of specifications fulfillment in HSE, QA/QC, Planning, Scheduling and Cost of the project. Manage commissioning activities in accordance with project scope. Hold periodic meetings depending on project progress. This management will be transferred to an activities program to handover the plant based in operating systems and fulfilling general project schedule. Preparation of commissioning activity list during the early Home Office phase. Support the Home Office works developed by the home office specialists, including systematization, HAZOPs, screenings, preservation matrix and other core activities. Development of commissioning plan, commissioning schedule and commissioning general procedures of the project in the Home Office phase. Development of commissioning detailed procedures in Home Office and Site phases. Support the development of the Vendor Assistance Matrix for the Project. Accept the operating systems from Construction in accordance with the specified precommissioning procedures prepared during Home Office Phase. In this way it is assured to the Client that all the requirements agreed during the home office phase are fulfilled. Report commissioning activities progress and develop look ahead plans. Support Handover department in the Commissioning Dossiers customized as per Client specifications and expectations. Follow up the Training Program developed and managed by the Training Coordinator. Follow up the Preservation Program, managed by the Preservation Coordinator or Supervisor. Request, time enough in advance, the technical assistance of Vendors and Specialists and follow up their job to ensure that such technical assistance is performed in accordance with contractual conditions and in the shorter time as possible. Attend coordination meetings with Subcontractors and Vendors and coordinate activities related to Commissioning. Follow up and approval for precommissioning activities executed by Commissioning team and assisted by Construction team. Execution of commissioning procedures, implementing the activities described in them. Lead Commissioning and Start up activities with special involving and emphasis in high pressure leak test, chemical cleaning, hydrojetting, catalysts loading, steam blowing, tubines and compressors commissioning, furnaces preparation for operation, boilers commissioning and start up, cryogenic systems commissioning, high pressure pumps preparation, cryogenic tanks dry out and cool down, etc. Capable of working in a team with Client and Licensor in commissioning and start up activities of Ethane Cracker Furnaces.
Responsibilities
The manager is responsible for overseeing the entire commissioning scope, ensuring compliance with HSE, QA/QC, Planning, Scheduling, and Cost specifications for a new petrochemical complex.
