Design & Engineering
CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. The Opportunity
The Commissioning Officer role offers the opportunity to be hands-on with some of Australia’s most exciting energy infrastructure projects. With a strong understanding of commissioning processes and expectations, you’ll play a pivotal role in substation commissioning to ensure projects are delivered safely, successfully, and on time.
In this role, you will play a key part in planning, scheduling and executing commissioning activities, while collaborating closely with a skilled and supportive team.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
About You
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Commissioning Primary and Secondary equipment within substations
Assisting the Design Office in developing HV system designs for active projects and future bids
Preparing FAT and SAT documentation for upcoming installations
Conducting pre-commissioning tests and commissioning of new and refurbished systems
Overseeing on-site work to ensure compliance with project, legislative, and regulatory requirements
Delivering accurate and timely “As Built” documentation
This position is based at our Doncaster office, with the opportunity to travel to project sites across Australia.
