Team Overview The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team is revolutionizing end-to-end data center planning, design, construction, and operations by developing innovative software and infrastructure solutions. Role Overview The Commissioning & Reliability Lead will deliver a clean, fast energization and stable first 90 days of operation for OCI mission-critical power systems—eliminating control hunting, miscoordination, and nuisance trips. This role leads the integrated commissioning plan across generation, substations, controls, and data center power delivery, defining hold/witness points and acceptance criteria, and executing system-level testing (including black start rehearsals, islanding tests, and power quality acceptance testing at the data center PCC). You will identify and close system-level gaps during commissioning and establish reliability readiness (RAM, spares, maintenance readiness) to enable a high-quality turnover to long-term Operations & Maintenance teams. Primary focus is Stabilize Stack – Borderplex, NM (Stacked), with secondary oversight for TX-K – Shackelford, TX (Vantage).
