The Opportunity Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician / Regional CCX Technician to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will execute, coordinate, and support commissioning and construction activities related to Silent-Aire products. You’ll play a key part in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, operational performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards. As an MCS Regional CCX Technician, your responsibilities span: CCX Service Agreement Fulfilment QA/QC Preventative Maintenance, Operations Training & Technical Support Technical Advisory What You Will Do Lead and coordinate day-to-day CCX services including inspections, installations, repairs, start-up, functional testing, and troubleshooting of Silent-Aire equipment. Work closely with client project teams from installation through commissioning and handover. Collaborate with SAE Engineering and QA/QC teams to understand design requirements and provide feedback on improvements. Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering prompt technical support and issue resolution. Develop and maintain deep technical expertise across the product and service portfolio. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, milestones, and impacts to quality, cost, or schedule. Support regional growth initiatives and contribute to developing the technical and customer infrastructure. Work collaboratively with APAC technicians and management to improve regional performance and profitability. Complete daily reporting and ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Collect, analyse, and summarise operational data and trends. Protect company information and comply with all business, safety, and quality procedures. Perform additional duties or hands-on tasks as required. What We’re Looking For University or college degree in engineering or related technical discipline (preferred). Trade school education/certification (an asset). Minimum five years’ experience as a technician—ideally within the HVAC industry. Strong analytical and computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting (advantageous). Strong communication skills, professionalism, adaptability, and dependability. Ability to build effective internal and external relationships. Commitment to safety initiatives and quality standards. Above‑average troubleshooting skills; self‑motivated and responsible. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively support cross-functional teams. Must meet site access requirements and pass all pre-employment checks (drug/alcohol testing, medical, background, references, driving record). Willingness to travel as required.
