WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

  • 5+ years of high-tech company experience (SaaS/Cloud model preferred) in Finance or accounting with minimum 3 years’ experience as commissions administrator.
  • BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or other quantitative fields preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with Captivate IQ or similar compensation tool is required.
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel skills and passion for new technologies.
  • Experience with CRM/HRIS systems like Salesforce and Workday is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team player with a positive, “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and delivering against deadlines.
  • Motivated to work cross-functionally in a role which supports multiple business partners.
  • Superior analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with an unwavering attention to detail and a relentless drive for excellence.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Mastery of sales compensation systems, with a proven ability to leverage technology for strategic advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, administration and management of sales compensation plans globally.
  • Prepare and ensure accurate calculation of the monthly and quarterly commissions payout.
  • Distribute and track completeness of compensation plan sign-off from sales personnel to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Point of contact for all commissions related questions and provide thorough and timely answers to the sales and sales management teams and maintain regular customer service.
  • Implement, administer and manage compensation plans in Captivate IQ.
  • Build documentation to effectively handle all commissions related processes.
  • Document approvals and other support materials for any adjustment that will result in changes to pay and assist in drafting policies and procedures around adjustments.
  • Maintain, document, and adhere to internal controls to ensure Sox and policy compliance.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless execution and alignment of compensation plans across the organization.
  • Present regular reports and insights to executive leadership, providing actionable recommendations and strategic guidance on sales compensation design and execution matters.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve overall program effectiveness.
