Overview:
Waters Wilmslow are seeking an expert Indirect Commodity Manager to join the team!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Procurement Organisation in Europe. This role will be responsible for analysing data and identifying cost savings, negotiating contracts and supplier management.
This is a full time, permanent position working in a hybrid model 3 days on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse spend data and identify areas for consolidation and cost downs in the EMEA region
  • Negotiate indirect contracts for best price, quality and terms
  • Evaluate, audit and manage suppliers to ensure compliance to business goals
  • Mitigate risk and benchmark against industry practices and processes.
  • Market analysis of suppliers in the relevant space
  • Co ordination and management of projects that support the departmental practices
  • Support the Procurement Operations team with indirect sourcing
  • Ensure improvements are made in accordance with the requirements of: ISO 9001; ISO 13485; 21 CFR parts 11 and 820 and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Ensure progress against departmental KPI’s
  • Provide mentoring, support, guidance, and development to Procurement Operations buyers

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor of Business Studies and/or APICS Certified.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated experience of negotiation and cost saving projects required.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office
