Job Description
Title: Commodity Manager
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS undergraduate degree in Business Studies (with emphasis in Supply Chain Management), Operations Management, Engineering or IT
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
• 7+ years progressive commodity / procurement / strategic sourcing / category / supply chain management experience (national and international)
• 5+ years Indirect category management experience in Professional Services, Facility and Information Systems; deep Outsourced Operations category management experience
• Capability in developing sourcing strategies and leading the implementation
• Excellent project management, written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to drive cost savings
• The ability to work in a matrix management environment
• Strategic planning and change management skills
• Working knowledge of and experience with ERP systems
• Ability to travel (international) to support projects (as required)
• Good written and oral communication skills in Mandarin to manage Hong Kong and Taiwan region is a plus
