Who We’re Looking For
Are you a self-starter, always ready to take on a challenge, and unphased by rejection? Do you thrive in both solo and team settings, pride yourself on ethical practices, and know how to charm and compete? If so, you’re just who we need.
We value experience in business development, account management, or any role where your influence on decisions and relationship-building skills have shined. Have you run your own business, working in door-to-door sales, or excelled in a commission-based role? If you’ve also competed in varsity, national, or professional level sports, you’re exactly the kind of go-getter we’re looking for!
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly passionate and customer-focused Trader to join our growth-oriented team and contribute to the company’s success through buying and selling metal products. You will work both in individual and team capacity to build sustainable businesses by developing long-term mutually beneficial trading partnerships.
Training Program for Traders

Successful candidates will be hired on as a Trader Trainee and will actively participate in a 6-8 months’ hands on training program to develop an in-depth understanding of the metal trading industry by:

  • Learning the technical skills of metal commodity trading
  • Developing approaches to cultivate and grow a portfolio of customers.
  • Learning the dynamics and ins and outs of B2B selling, negotiations and building relationships for the long term.
  • Learning how to apply your analytical skills to grow business with both existing and new customers.
  • Learn how to market materials for optimal value.
  • Build strong relationship skills to manage after-sale service with customers.
  • Learn how to organize your portfolio and drive growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers through cold-calling, prospecting, and account management.
  • Negotiate prices, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new trading opportunities and expand your portfolio.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and analyze pricing strategies.
  • Travel to customer sites across Canada and the U.S. to strengthen relationships.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transactions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Science preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (B2B experience preferred).
  • A highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset—you thrive on building relationships and closing deals.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn.
  • Analytical and mathematical skills to assess pricing and market opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A valid G driver’s license (required).
  • Fluency in French is an asset.

Why Join Us?

  • Work hard, play hard culture with a team that values collaboration and success.
  • A fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where your contributions make an impact.
  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonus to reward your success.
  • Strong mentorship & career development within our Trader program.
  • Health & wellness benefits + matching savings plans to support your future.
