As part of this journey, we are establishing a new Commercial Communication function within Range - acting as a strategic global gearbox for Marketing in IKEA, in close collaboration with teams across Range, Retail and IKEA Marketing & Communication. Range Commercial Communication will play an important role in delivering on the IKEA strategies and growth agenda, with the purpose to strengthen the IKEA Brand and drive commercial performance. Together, we will create clear, impactful and consistent communication that supports both business growth and meaningful customer experiences across markets and touchpoints. This role is positioned in Range Commercial Communication. You will be reporting to the Range Commercial Communication Manager. Our team is based in Älmhult. Job Description About the role Do you want to shape how IKEA shows up to millions of people, across markets and channels? As Common Content Manager, you will own and drive the development of a global content portfolio that connects the IKEA range with people’s everyday lives—creating communication that inspires, guides, and drives business results. At the heart of Range Commercial Communication, you will turn insights into impactful content at scale. You’ll lead the full journey—from understanding consumer needs and defining direction, to assigning content, shaping briefs, and ensuring successful delivery in markets. This is a role for someone who thinks like a marketing product developer—balancing creativity, strategy, and performance. You’ll work closely with Retail Marketing, Range teams, and creative partners to ensure every piece of content is relevant, consistent, and commercially effective. What you will be responsible for Own the Common Content portfolio end-to-end Define, plan, assign, approve, and follow up on all Common Content deliveries across IKEA Retailers—ensuring high quality, on-time, and cost-efficient execution aligned to business priorities. Steer performance, priorities, and investments Manage the full portfolio, including budget and performance, balancing impact, cost, and delivery to support the IKEA Growth Plan. Turn insights into impactful content Lead portfolio planning by combining consumer insights, creative direction, range priorities, and product selection into clear, customer-centric content directions. Drive innovation in an omnichannel landscape Continuously develop and evolve Common Content to increase relevance, engagement, and effectiveness across channels and markets. Create clarity through strong briefs and decisions Ensure fact-based, insight-driven decisions are translated into sharp, actionable briefs with clear strategic messaging. Secure market impact Lead the successful implementation of content across markets, ensuring relevance, usability, and strong business results. Drive capability and ways of working Identify, define, and prioritize content and capability needs to strengthen how IKEA works with marketing communication. Lead collaboration and transformation Act as a key partner across Range, Retail, and IMC—driving alignment, strengthening collaboration, and shaping the future of theCommon Content agenda. Qualifications What we’d like you to bring to the table You’re a senior, idea-driven marketing leader who knows how to turn insight into impactful communication at scale. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset—and thrive in a collaborative, global environment.
