Job Summary Our Communicable Disease Program Coordinator provides administrative support and assists with coordinating all aspects of the Communicable Disease program at UCNW including patient, health center, and community programs. Requirements Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge at a level typically acquired through completion of a general studies high school program. Possesses specific knowledge and training in public and/or community health typically acquired during completion of a certificate or license program. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Public health coursework preferred. Three (3) years’ experience in social services or public health. Experience working cross departmentally within a medical clinic and leading multi-disciplinary teams including outside agencies. Equivalent education, training, and experience may be substituted. Basic knowledge of the social and clinical aspects of living with HIV/AIDS & Hepatitis C preferred. Program coordination experience required. Experience with grant research, writing, and reporting is preferred. Must have the ability to analyze and report clinical outcomes and participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives. Must have the ability to understand and respond effectively and with sensitivity to special population groups, including those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic standing & others.
