Description

Salary Range: $51,839.58 - $51,839.58 Works under the supervision of the Radio Maintenance Manager. Installs and removes Communication equipment for the City of Memphis Police, Fire, and local government. Installs radios, LED and strobe bar lights, and sirens on Police, Fire, and other types of City owned vehicles. Performs maintenance on such items as microphones, speakers, and other ancillary items used in two-way radios. Performs some light metal bending and drilling of light iron to forms brackets. Operates computer terminal. Assists Police Radio Technicians in more complex work as designated by management.

Responsibilities

The Communication Safety Equipment Installer installs and removes communication equipment for the City of Memphis Police, Fire, and local government. This includes installing radios, lights, and sirens on city-owned vehicles and performing maintenance on related equipment.
