REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, communications, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience
· Experience using social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), & Tik Tok
· Ability to work independently and to take initiative
· Ability to collaborate within a team
· Knowledge/understanding of and respect for the teachings and traditions of the Catholic faith and an ability to communicate it
· Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.

Responsibilities

COMMUNICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage social media efforts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), and TikTok
· Develop content calendar, create graphics and write captions.
· Update website content in collaboration with director and Multimedia Specialist
· Assist, as needed, with press releases, news conferences, etc.
· Gather information for events, organizations to be promoted
· Other Communications responsibilities as assigned by the director

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Answer calls into the Comm line
· Return phone calls to Comm line, with special attention to media calls
· Keep digital files of press releases, photos, graphics
· Monitor the main Communications email address
· Take care of CRF requests coming into Communications email
