Job Description Within Western Australia, Sodexo is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and refurbishment of non-process infrastructure to clients within the mining and oil & gas sector. Sodexo plays a critical role in ensuring the resource sector can operate by providing quality catering, hospitality, and facilities maintenance services. We are currently looking for Communications Technicians to join our FM team working at various sites within the Pilbara on an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth. Duties: Collects, analyses, interprets data and summarizes data. Tests and evaluates operation of equipment or process conditions applying established procedures. Follows laid down procedures to undertake preparatory checks/maintenance in order to ensure the availability of the system. Reports and repairs faults where technically qualified to do so, and escalates faults where necessary to restore systems integrity. Analyzes and recommends improvements. May perform preventive maintenance, adjustments or repairs. Suggest improvements (equipment, software…) and in this way participates in optimizing network operations.
