Description

Hours: 15 hours per week including core mandatory office based hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 1pm, when the office is open to the public. Days: Core hours plus others to be agreed. Location: Pembury Kent
Salary: £27,250-£29,000 pro rata
We are recruiting a pro-active Communications Administrator to join our friendly, hard-working and flexible team based in the Parish Office in Pembury. This might be the role for you if you can deal with multiple projects, have a strong community focus and great communication skills.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Design, copy write, proofread, and coordinate our popular quarterly newsletter
  • Create engaging content for our website, social media, newsletters and noticeboards
  • Help organise and support our community events
  • Be the first point of contact for residents – by phone, email, in person, or on social media
  • Support key Council projects and contribute to improving local services
  • Attend occasional meetings and prepare minutes (training provided)
