At AFCA, we’re looking for a Communications Adviser to help bring our internal communications to life, someone who can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages that empower our people and align with our values. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, prior internal communications experience and thrives in a varied communications role. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Strategic Communications, this position will initially support the People & Culture team and provide support across the team as needed. Please note, this is a 12 month fixed- term contract. Typically in this role you will: Craft and deliver compelling internal communications that inform, inspire, and connect our teams. Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives and embed our corporate plan across the organisation. Develop content that helps staff confidently represent AFCA to external stakeholders. Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand across all internal channels. Track the impact of your work and continuously improve how we communicate. Create innovative internal communications solutions Qualifications To be successful you will need: A background in communications, PR, or a related field and a passion for people-first storytelling. Strong writing, editing, and content production skills across modern channels. A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels. A proactive, customer-focused approach with a sharp eye for detail. Experience in financial services or member-based organisations is a bonus.
