We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Communications Advisor to join our Grid Solutions Program team in Brisbane CBD office on full-time basis for 12 months. Reporting to the Senior Consultant Change Management, you will play a key role in shaping how customers understand and interact with APA’s future Grid by delivering clear, engaging and intuitive customer communications as part of the Grid Solutions Program (GSP). This role sits at the intersection of digital communications, customer experience and transformation delivery. You will help translate complex technical information into meaningful content that supports a seamless customer journey as we launch APA’s new customer portal and modernise the way customers engage with the Grid. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage customer-facing content and communications supporting the launch of APA’s new Grid customer portal. Ensure information architecture and content structure create a clear, intuitive and consistent customer journey aligned to the Grid Solutions Program. Review, refine and repurpose existing program and microsite content to ensure it is fit-for-purpose for customers and aligned to future portal capabilities. Collaborate with program, training and technical teams to integrate supporting guidance materials and go-live communications. Coordinate stakeholder engagement, content reviews and formal approval processes to ensure governance and quality standards are met. Maintain and manage the existing GSP microsite during the transition period and support decommissioning activities at go-live. Your Background Experience in digital communications, website or portal content management within complex organisations. Strong writing, editing and content design skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to translate complex technical or program information into clear, customer-focused communications. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience coordinating content approvals across multiple teams. Experience working within structured governance environments or large transformation programs. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience.
