Located in Sydney or the Wagga Wagga region, the Communications Advisor will be responsible for producing a rolling suite of engaging video and digital communications content showcasing our team’s delivery of this major nation-building infrastructure project, in accordance with CIMIC policies and our obligations to our client, Transgrid.
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESYour responsibilities will include:
- Capturing project news of key milestone achievements, important safety and wellbeing information and shine a spotlight on our great people
- Leading direct collaborative relationships with a range of contracted professional media suppliers across video, photography and graphic design production and post production disciplines
- Produce and edit high-quality communications materials including newsletters, web content and social media stories
- Planning and managing external news media opportunities and events, including VIP visits to the project
- Ensuring planned production and publication schedules are consistently met to a professional standardYOU MUST HAVE
- A relevant qualification such as a bachelor’s degree majoring in Journalism or Media
- A minimum 3 years relevant Media Communication background such as a metropolitan or regional TV news or radio network
- Competency in the key Adobe Creative Suite Apps, including Premiere Pro / Rush, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Demonstrated skills in broadcast media production from conception and planning through post production, approvals and publishing
- Capacity to work effectively and collaboratively to support project-wide safety and quality assurance outcomes.
