This role has a focus on internal communications and events. It is responsible for the planning, curation and development of content for use across all VRQA’s internal channels including executive update emails and all-staff events.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

It is desirable that applicants hold a Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or journalism and/or have at least 5 years equivalent professional experience.

Reporting to the Manager, Communications, your skills will contribute to the delivery of strategic activities that support our key stakeholders and regulated entities, including:

  • internal and departmental staff
  • education and training providers
  • the apprenticeship and traineeship system
  • parents of home schooled children
Responsibilities

This role has a focus on internal communications and events. It is responsible for the planning, curation and development of content for use across all VRQA’s internal channels including executive update emails and all-staff events.
The VRQA Communications Unit is a small team that leads strategic communications activities and stakeholder engagement to contribute to the successful implementation of regulatory reforms in the education and training sector. As such, the role must also collaborate with colleagues to support the creation of engaging content for use across all the VRQA’s external communications channels.
