OVERVIEW

The Spring Island Trust is seeking a creative and outgoing person with excellent written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal skills, and technological ability, to serve as our Communications & Engagement Specialist. This position is a full-time, salaried, exempt position reporting to the Executive Director. Primary responsibilities include production of weekly newsletters and educational videos, our annual report and fundraising materials, as well as our website contents. Supporting the needs of our community is also a key component, and engaging with visitors to our nature center is a part of this role. In short, this position involves a diversity of tasks on the island, and the successful applicant will need to impress us with their track record of effective communications as well as an ability to maintain progress on many efforts at once. In return, you’ll join a team of professionals who are incredibly devoted to the work of the Trust, and to maintaining everything that makes Spring Island so special.
