Description:
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- A combination of education and experience may also be considered
- Demonstrated experience developing communications and marketing materials.
- Previous experience in public relations or marketing including media relations, social media management (Facebook and Instagram).
- Demonstrated experience developing content using the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other graphic design software is required.
- Coordinating vendors and/or consultants to deliver communication products is a strong asset
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Non-union position – casual
- Operates out of the Town Hall main office (60 Pleasant Street)
- Business hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Work outside of regular office hours may be required in order to meet operational demands.
- Salary: $30.52 - $39.42/hr., commensurate with qualifications

Responsibilities:
Energize Bridgewater is an award-winning program known nationally for its ambitious goals and innovations. The program helps to fight climate change and to lift people out of energy poverty by making clean energy affordable to them and helping them meet their housing needs. Energize Bridgewater is recognized as a leading initiative across the country. As the program enters its final year, we are looking for a motivated and creative individual to support the communications and marketing needs of the program. Working closely with the rest of the team, the Communications and Marketing Coordinator will help to design and deliver written and visual communication products, manage social media channels, and complete public relations and marketing tasks in collaboration with the rest of the Energize team. This is a part-time time causal position.
