ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will join an experienced and friendly team of corporate communications professionals who showcase the work of services across the council. Reporting to the corporate communications manager you will work with colleagues in Adult Social Care who have ambitious plans for the future.
You will be responsible for all aspects of delivering communications and engagement activities and campaigns relevant to the broad range of range of adult social care services provided and commissioned by the council’s highly dedicated and supportive Adult Social Care teams. We are looking for a communications professional who enjoys working in partnership and collaborating with others to get the best results.
This will include highlighting the council’s achievements and their impacts on improving the lives of residents, alongside promoting initiatives and projects such as Shared Lives and the Community Wellbeing Hub. In addition, the role will communicate and engage with a wide range of social care and health partners and providers, working in partnership and ensuring key messages are disseminated.
