YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • First work experience in international organizations, political foundations, or non-profits.
  • First work experience in communications or a related field.
  • Outstanding academic records with a proven interest in the intersection of business and politics.
  • Excellent command of the English language, German is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant media landscape, social media trends and platforms.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
  • Familiarity with different social media tools (e.g. Hootsuite).
  • Familiarity with different design tools (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop).
Responsibilities

Communications

  • Strategy Execution: Support the execution of the overall communications strategy in close cooperation with the Communications Manager.
  • Media Monitoring: Monitor and summarize online and offline media trends and topics on issues relevant to Berlin Global Dialogue.
  • Data Analysis: Prepare weekly data analytics reports to track engagement across various platforms.
  • Content Creation: Conceptualize, write, and schedule engaging social media posts for our LinkedIn channel.
  • Project Management: Independently manage projects within different communications workstreams.
  • Website Maintenance: Manage updates to the Berlin Global Dialogue Website.

Research and Other

  • Speaker Research: Conduct background research on ministers, CEOs, and heads of government to ensure we can shape appropriate sessions.
  • Policy Tracking: Monitor and summarize economic trends, policy announcements, and global developments to support session preparation.
  • Session & Materials Preparation: Assist in drafting session outlines, preparing briefing materials for moderators and speakers and the wrap-up report.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain and update tracking documents for invited speakers, confirmations, and key correspondences.
  • Provide other support as needed.
